Entering Valuation Request Data

Go through the various tabs of the Request Valuation screen and enter the data required for the request. At the end of each page, except the Submit Request page, click the Continue button to advance.

Claim Data Page

  • Designate the Vehicle Owner
  • Select an Adjuster
  • Designate an Appraiser (Note: A drop down list appears if there are less than 40 Appraisers)
  • Enter a Vehicle Owner
  • Enter the Vehicle Owner Postal Code
  • Enter the Date of Loss
  • Select the Loss Type
  • Select the Loss Category
  • Enter the Policy Number and Deductible information as appropriate.

Vehicle Page

  1. Enter the VIN and use the Decode VIN button
    -or-
    Mark the Vehicle “Unknown” and click the Enter Vehicle button to manually enter the Year, Make, Model of the Vehicle. Then click the Find Vehicle button.
  2. Enter the Odometer reading.

Vehicle Options Page

Use the check boxes to select options to include in the Valuation. The standard (std) options for the selected vehicle are marked. Click the links to display an image and definition for an option.

Note: The Transmission Type is not selected as part of the Standard Options. It must be manually selected from the drop down list.

Vehicle Condition Page

Use the radio buttons to select the Condition for each appropriate section and add any comments into the text boxes.

Note: Click any of the Condition Type column headers at the top of the page to set the condition of all fields with a single click.

Refurbishments Page

  1. Enter information regarding:
  • Restored
  • Rebuilt Transmission
  • Rebuilt Engine
  • New Tires
  • New Paint
  • Reconditioned Interior
  • Maintenance Items
  • Special Wheels
  • Other
  1. Select the checkbox next to the item to select it and then enter the appropriate information in the text box(es) and designate type or numbers by using the radio buttons as required.

Adjustments Page

Enter any Pre Tax and Post Tax Adjustments into the appropriate fields.

Note: If you had entered a deductible on the Claims Data page, it will be listed on the Adjustments page.

Submit Request Page

  1. The Submit Request page opens. Enter any notes to be included.

Note: If you add notes to the Valuation Request, it will be handled manually.

  1. Once everything is entered in your request, click the Submit Valuation Request button. Once you have successfully submitted your request, you will receive a confirmation.

Note: You can use the links at the top of the page to go back and change any of the information you have entered.

Confirmation Page

From the Confirmation page, you can use links to do the following:

  • Open the Claim Folder to view the status of the valuation request
  • Request a new valuation
  • Open the CCC Portal Home Page
